What is a foundation?
A foundation is a solution built around a particular part of your business. It might be an app, a website, or a recurring workflow. It includes an AI assistant connected to the work and equipped to help improve the solution over time.
Can I ask it to change the software?
Yes. Development capability is part of the foundation. You can describe improvements, and the assistant can help prepare and test them. The size of the request, the connected systems, and your chosen release rules determine how a change moves forward. Some requests need additional information or a separately scoped project.
Do I need to know how to code?
You can describe the work and improvements in ordinary language. We show you how to use the foundation and explain how changes, access, and ongoing maintenance are handled.
Do I own it?
You control your hosting and business data, and receive the custom deliverables agreed for your project. Existing third-party services and software keep their own terms and licenses. We make the handoff and ownership details clear during scoping.
Do I have to buy a care plan?
No. Care is optional. Your foundation and its assistant remain available in your environment. Without care, you or your chosen provider are responsible for maintenance and support.
Where does my information go?
We explain the hosting, AI providers, and connected services used for your project. When a workflow uses cloud AI, relevant information is sent to that provider. Customer-owned hosting does not automatically mean every part of the workflow stays on that server.
What does it cost?
There is a scoped build fee, ongoing costs for the services you use, and optional care. We identify those separately before the project starts.
What if I want to automate something else?
You can extend your existing foundation or work with Plugflo on the next one. We help you decide where another solution would be useful and how it should connect to what you already have.
